Arizona: Grand Canyon & Kaibob National Forest

What can I say, the Grand Canyon didn’t disappoint. After spending the night at the Flagstaff Cracker Barrel we were on our way to the South Rim at Grand Canyon. Rumor has is there’s an off-limit area that’s actually owned by NASA. From what I understand there’s a portal of some kind, I don’t even remember where I heard it, it wasn’t that big of a deal to me, portals are all over the globe. I’m sure there is and of course they do was my response but I couldn’t help wonder where that portal was when I was staring at the magnitude of it all, and I was just looking at a piece of Grand Canyon.

I mentioned before that Amber and I have a, it’s not weird to me because I believe in all things quantum but somehow her and I are entangled a little more than most. When we were in the Desert View Watchtower she mentioned she wanted a patch so I told her to pick one out and I’d buy it for her. Wouldn’t you know it I selected a sticker of the exact same thing. We were both attracted to ’em because they resembled yin and yang.

I went all the way to the top of the watchtower for some more spectacular views, climbed a lot of stairs to get there too. The tower itself had really cool architecture along with the history of the Hopi culture. If you want to know the truth about our ancestry, how we got here and who to thank just ask the indigenous, they know the truth.

me wondering where the portal is

Kaibob National Forest is where we ended up staying the night, FINALLY some camping! This was day six and we hadn’t actually camped yet which was something I was really looking forward to. Although is it really camping? It’s a little glamping if you ask me but whatever I was just happy to be in the mountains. We crossed paths with some cows which made me think about a story I heard at the Disclosure Festival last year, I’ll never look at cows the same again.

Long story short this guy was telling us about how his sister has a ranch with a bunch of cows and one of the cows was a ‘watcher’. The watcher was there to oversee everything. He said you could tell they were a watcher by the look in their eyes. I remember sitting there wide-eyed myself thinking dang I wonder if that’s true. You don’t know what you don’t know, right? Fast forward a year with everything I’ve learned, if it’s a watcher then there’s gotta be a higher intelligence serving a higher purpose. Now whenever I see a cow I can’t help but wonder if they’re a watcher too, half joking and half not.

I don’t know why exactly but I like taking pictures of roads. My guess is because they’re like pathways and perhaps I’m drawn to them because life is all about taking different paths. Life is a journey, it’s not a race to the end but an adventure until it’s time to change your address, physically or spiritually.
