Following The Signs

I may as well have been sitting at a round table with The Galactic Federation when the message came through not to control any aspect of the journey I was about to take cross country, it came in loud and clear. At the time I was like okay yeah sure sounds good, but now having completed my jaunt it makes sense even more so about how I needed to get out of my own way and allow for the flow of the divine to take the lead because that they did. Not only was there an endless supply of angel numbers but it was also the numbers that helped lead the way and bring us comfort and support with every twist and turn.

When we finally were done procrastinating, actually I do believe it was her neighbor when he mentioned what the date was, that’s what put a fire under our keisters. We wanted to be in New Mexico for the finale at the balloon fiesta which left us with two days to get to Albuquerque which is a really tough word to type by the way. It was Thursday (I got there on Monday) when we finally headed out. We didn’t know exactly where we were going, we knew we were going west, but that’s about it. In the back of my mind I knew I couldn’t control anything so I don’t even remember what or why we googled what we did, but Buffalo State Park was the winner, and that’s because it had 1111 in the address.

When we arrived we didn’t even know if we could sleep overnight but when I came out from using the restroom at the only restaurant in sight there was this guy smoking a cigarette who could’ve sold ice cubes to eskimos because I totally believed him when he said he owned the parking lot not to mention the restaurant. He told me we were more than welcome to park for the night. In retrospect I think he was just a convincing patron who had the confidence of however many beers but whatever because like I said I believed him so that’s where we stayed our first night with no hassle.

We had dinner at Charlie something restaurant and it was shortly thereafter Amber went out for a smoke and I saw the biggest hairless tarantula. Haha there’s no such thing (that I know of) but it was one of the biggest spiders I’ve ever seen. I saw our waitress almost fall off her bar stool when she was folding napkins. The bartender (a dude) wanted nothing to do with it as he ran like a little girl behind the bar back, in all fairness though this spider was ginormous and I certainly wanted nothing to do with it either.

I don’t really like to kill spiders anymore, unless they’re too close for comfort but for the most part now I let them do their thing because they are an important part of every ecosystem. I definitely leave web dwellers alone, it’s the ones that go rogue and roam the premises that I don’t trust. Anyway before I knew it a customer (female) swooped in and sadly ended its life by smooshing it. It was pretty funny though, I’ll never forget it. The next morning we hit the road and went through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Missouri stopping in Casey, Illinois for tacos.

The signs were everywhere, unlimited angel numbers, there was no doubt in my mind the reason why I had let go of control was because we were being guided and angel numbers had a lot to do with it. It’s hard to say which ones took the gold because 144, 222, 333 and 444 were the ones that showed up the most but make no mistake they all made an appearance. Signs from Spirit were everywhere. I did ask kindly for them to please blow our minds, especially Amber considering they didn’t have to convince me of their magical powers.

gotta love twofers

Casey, Illinois

Nothing says I love you like walking into a Cracker Barrel and the first thing you see is a message from your mom who’s transitioned to the other side of the veil. It stopped me in my tracks of course and brought tears to my eyes. There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by that I don’t think about my beautiful mother and how wonderful she was and how grateful I am to say I am part of her, always and forever. Next it was off to Albuquerque New Mexico where everything changed.
