Huntington Beach

Another successful week of laughter, friends and fun with some journaling, reading and learning riding shot gun. Woke up this morning with this song stuck in me head. Love it, thank you.

Played laser tag for the first time in my life. Had a blast, came in third. I did have an a-ha moment though and I have to say I have a whole new perspective not to mention respect for police officers and SWAT and our military because there was a moment I actually stopped in my tracks. While this was a simple game of laser tag I couldn’t even imagine the scary adrenaline in those real life situations. So thank you to all who protect and serve. For real.

This is how I like to spend my Thursday afternoons co-existing. Ducks and ground squirrels can do it, maybe we should take some notes.

Would’ve missed this penny had a duck not waddled right over it, thanks mom. 💞

And then there’s THIS GUY, stole my heart yes he did, look at him proving to the world that nothing’s gonna stop him from achieving his goals, or getting his bread.

I love ground squirrels, it reminded me of the time when Cody and I rescued seven babies when we were living in Evergreen, Colorado. They were so cute but man those little buggers were high maintenance with feedings like every few hours. Their formula had to be a certain temperature and feeding ’em without handing ’em was even harder for me but it was worth it and at the end of the day we released ’em back into the wild.

Spent an afternoon with some veterans. I gotta say high fives and fist bumps all the way around for HB cause there’s rarely a dull moment. They’re always paying tribute to something or hosting this that and the other. Kudos to Huntington Beach for being a spectacular city and even better community. Blessed to temporarily be a part of it.

And this picture was from an evening walking back from the beach, you can’t even tell what I took a picture of because my angels have certainly intervened and made the lights a little brighter than they should be LOL. You can’t even tell what they are cause the lights are so bright but that’s just another way Spirit communicates with me, through my pictures. I love it. And for that I say thank you.
