Shout Out’s

Shout Out’s

I‘ve gotta back track a wee bit cause I forgot to mention some peeps from the beginning of my journey and that’s no bueno. Thanks to Shelly Litwin (I typed Simmons and had to backspace it, I did. Kind a like Jennifer Peters, old school for life lol) she actually officially started my venture with an awesome lunch.

We lived in Colorado together for idk a long ass time and didn’t meet up till I was out, but it doesn’t matter cause she’s one of those friends. Old school. Erin Jean and her fam in Arizona. Had pizza from Tony’s Little Italy, great pie and even better friend. Rhonda Rayman, cocktails in Laguna and catching up.

My favorite guru in Newport and of course Driftwood my last night in Cali. And lunch with my Aunt Denise along with her text the next morning sending me on my way. Each one of em made an impact and were exactly the people I needed to be surrounded by and had words of wisdom that still resonate. Thank you.

Text from my aunt read…..

“Take a deep breath!! You’re about to embark on a very exciting journey. Keep in mind that while you are enhancing the lives of some very special people, your own soul will be enriched with a life force guided by the everlasting guide of your Mom that will be embracing you like one of her everlasting hugs! Even though I will not be with you physically I will be with you in spirit. As always I will keep you in my prayers and ask your Guardian Angels to keep you under their wings. This time is going to pass very quickly, don’t forget to take a moment each night to journal your experience. Love you.”

Very sweet. Thank you.

More unmentioned shout outs.

Thank you to Sage for being there my last leg in Colorado. I never have a bad time with this girl and honestly couldn’t have done it without her.

It’s funny cause we’re pretty far apart in age (she’s 22 and I’m working on 46) but she’s pretty mature for her age and I tend to be a wee bit on the immature side so it kind of works out perfect.

We were coworkers for a few years at the RRCC bookstore (Hey B, hey Vikki, Alaska, and Cynthia) and have been friends ever since.

Definitely an OG (original gangsta) of my soul squad. Cynthia thanks for my eyebrows and yard sale, you rock.

And Sue Dawg, friends for many years, gosh maybe twenty. She’s just like me; loud, free spirit, speaks her mind and never a dull moment.

She helped me place my rabbits which I’m extremely grateful for but super sad I had to go that route. At least they’re in a loving home getting the attention and everything they need.

Susan is definitely a lifetime member of the fearless soul squad and cheers to twenty more years. Thank you for everything I love you.

Shout out to my peops in Chino Hills, CA. Taylor (she calls me aunt and I call her sister) and of course Ava and (my bestie) Merrick.

And Tony aka Tone Loc, thank you for helping me with my blog cause quite frankly I couldn’t have done it without him (or I can’t do it without you cause I’m tech challenged and my blood pressure thanks you too lol).

We became friends through volunteering at the food bank at RRCC (Red Rocks Community College), him and his wife Shannon who sadly we lost a few years ago to Cancer. Soul squad members for sure. Muah.
