Spiritual Meaning of Eagles

I had the incredible honor of having an eagle literally fly right in front of my windshield as I was driving. It was magnificent. The wingspan was ginormous, it blew my mind. Seeing it from a distance does it no justice. Coincidence? Hahaha…hardly.

Eagles symbolize spiritual enlightenment, intellect and Divine Knowledge because they’re spiritually balanced. They are symbols of freedom from captivity, slavery and/or oppression because eagles are powerful, fierce and free.

Eagles are messengers of light illuminating our path while offering guidance. We cannot reach spiritual balance or enlightenment if we’re not willing to be open to all possibilities. They are symbolic of vision because they’re able to see what we cannot while focusing on survival with their keen eyesight. They also use their intuition to guide them to see what’s ahead. They’re observant and always in the present moment.

Eagles are animals of transformation as they’re able to change their perspective with fluidity and ease. By changing our perspectives we are able to transform, altering how we do things sometimes causing us to think completely opposite of what we were thinking prior. They symbolize power, freedom and the big blue sky. Many belive they have the gift of prophecy, seeing into the future. They’re hope for a better tomorrow and have a higher understanding of life.

According to spiritualunite.com they also symbolize death. Death signifies a loss of the ego, letting go of what defines us as humans. Once you let go of your ego you’re able to transcend the physical and then truly understand who you are. Eagles are a sign of strength soaring high in the sky and are able to conquer any obstacle on their path.

If you ask me the eagle I felt like I could almost touch yesterday is a huge sign from angels and guides and currently my spirit animal. I love it. So bad ass. Thank you.

They have a strong sense of self-esteem. They are humble living freely with no restraints unless necessary for survival. Life is about freedom and living with no restrictions. Freedom allows for authenticity and finding happiness in who we are.

Eagles are fearless. Yasssssss! They symbolize that we too can (and should) be fearless in our lives especially when it comes to overcoming fears. I know I am, or do my best anyway. When you confront your fears head-on those burdens tend to disappear. They’re also symbolic of peace with the ability to transcend, going beyond the normal range of limits.

Eagles have an unshakeable presence and with their higher conscious see what most do not. We too are able to tap into our higher selves, transcend beyond physical form so we can live life on a spiritual level. All you have to do is be open to it and know seeing isn’t always believing.
