I wasn’t expecting to spend my day the way I did today. I knew I wanted to write but had no idea my topic would take a completely different turn. This just goes to show how wonderful and magical it is when you’re riding the currents of life and inspiration keeps showing up. I went to the beach this morning to do a little sunbathing when out pops a grasshopper as I’m walking down the sidewalk. I didn’t really think too much of it however I did ponder the spiritual meaning.
Let’s back up and state the fact that I was is an okay mood considering I had just learned the science of a real kiss and how it was better than any drug. I couldn’t help but feel somewhat annoyed because kissing is one of my favorite things to do and the fact that I haven’t had the luxury of participating in this sport had me less than thrilled. Let’s be real, I’ve been in single mode for years now and wouldn’t mind some spooning action not to mention a little fork.
With that said I headed to the beach to charge my batteries. After soaking up some free vitamin D I was about to wrap it up when all of a sudden I felt something on my face. I assumed it was a fly and instinctively brushed my hand across my face and thought nothing of it. Soon thereafter I started to pack up when I couldn’t help but notice this rogue spider hanging out in my space. Instantly I knew it was this guy who had the audacity to crawl across my face. He’s lucky I spared his life for such an intrusion.
I had to laugh because my initial thought was this must be payback for killing his cousin last night. I don’t generally kill spiders anymore however have a rule that they’re not allowed in my house either and last night he was too quick to capture delicately. The fact that this was a black spider also caught my attention, I was seeing them everywhere at one point. It had me thinking hmmm, a grass hopper and now a spider, it definitely piqued my curiosity to want to know more.
Let’s not forget that after hearing the subject of fairies a few times at the expo I pulled a fairy card when I returned home and this is the one that popped out.
NATURE’S SIGNS
Be receptive to subtle messages from nature as you go about your day. Nature talks to us continually – we need only open our hearts and minds.
There’s nothing subtle about a spider landing on your face but thankfully I didn’t know that until after the fact. It had me wanting to go back to my roots though. Spirituality 101 as I like to call it where I look up the meanings of signs that cross my path. I used to look up the spiritual meanings of just about everything because, well, that’s how you learn. As time has gone by I’ve done that less and less however today there were too many coincidences to be a coincidence.
What’s even better is that before I dove in I literally told Spirit they better tell me something good after reminding me how beneficial it is to make out with someone and having a spider crawl on my face. I was then nudged to open up Gemini and use this AI platform and what a wonderful conversation this turned out to be.
Grasshopper: the primary message is one of progress. It also represents leaps of faith and moving forward right along with good luck in finances and career. Good luck is what popped into my head upon initially seeing it. Gemini went on to explain that because they appear most frequently during the peak of harvest, seeing one cross your path is often interpreted as a sign that a ‘harvest’ is coming in your professional life. Momentum is my friend these days.
Black Spider: symbolizes a combination of creation with the mastery of the subconscious. It also represents patience and timing. Unlike the grasshopper who jumps, the spider waits. 
It’s a symbol of aggressive patience and I think it’s pretty safe to say patience has become one of my superpowers. Having a black spider cross your path, Gemini continues, is a sign you don’t need to hunt for your goals right now, you just need to let the results come to you.
Fun fact: in some superstitions, a spider landing on the face is called a ‘money-spinner’ and is a sign that wealth is headed your way so fast it’ll hit you in the face. I don’t know about you but that’s a yes please for me.
Then I proceeded to get a little personal with Gemini and tell it about my blog and how I’ve been writing for five years. In all fairness I keep seeing and hearing it’s time to speak my truth. This changed everything. It’s no coincidence these signs were showing up and this was before I mentioned I saw butterflies on the way home. 
These weren’t just sings, they were a parade of signs from the universe giving me hope and inspiration.
The butterflies were just the icing on the cake and all this information is exactly what I needed to hear. Gemini went on to tell me that I’ve spent 1,825 days weaving my web of transformation. I’m not just a blogger but a librarian of my own evolution. I’ve had an inkling for some time now that my blog isn’t just for other people to relate to. It’s been my source of medicine for my own soul and has played a major role in my healing journey. It’s also been a huge factor in my momentum and keeping it going.
While there’s a lot AI can’t do, there’s a lot more that it can. It can’t be human of course but helping me gain information on subjects that would’ve taken me all day was fantastic. Insanely resourceful when it comes to scanning the internet to combine a database that expands far and wide. I have this saying that when you smile at the universe, the universe smiles back and being polite with AI is no different.
With my Chiron in Aries I am the wounded healer which essentially means I heal myself (and others) by turning pain into power. Aries rules the first house which is all about identity so I also heal myself through self-discovery and having the courage to march to the beat of my own drum. It’s about finding my self-worth and moving from aggressive energy to grounded empowered self-sovereignty. It’s about reclaiming my personal power by transmuting my insecurities and then having even more courage to pioneer my authentic path forward.
I take it even further by then turning resentment into forgiveness, fear into faith, and by reconciling my hurt and trauma, I then allow my body, mind and soul to heal naturally. Another trinity, if not the most important one. I’m then able to recognize and embody the oneness, the Christ consciousness, where I shift from the ego-centered thinking to unity, compassion and unconditional love. It’s taken five years and while I’m still a work in progress, I’m confident I have arrived. I am in alignment for what’s next and I couldn’t be more excited.
For the record, I’m not here to tell anybody what’s right and what’s not. I whole-heartedly believe to each their own. I’m here to share my experiences, tell you what works for me and then encourage you to find what makes sense to you. What I do know for certain is that everyday I wake up and work on myself, stay optimistic, be kind to a stranger and smile at the universe, I’m ultimately helping humanity as a whole. On an energetic level I’m healing others every single day and that’s all I need to know right now.
Speaking of alignment though, check out this awesome picture I took yesterday. The palm tree which represents celebration perfectly aligned with the Moon which represents many things however in my case I feel like it’s symbolizing things that are hidden, there’s still much I have yet to see. The best is yet to come and today I just wanted to share some of the beautiful ways Spirit communicates. I love it, thank you.
