The Pineal Gland & Special Friends

The pineal gland plays the role of controlling your sleep patterns, decision making, reality perception and so much more. It’s an extremely important gland as activation brings a more significant connection to the natural world and a willingness to let go of ego pursuits that shut out our soul. Lucid dreaming, astral projection and an enhanced imagination are topics related to pineal gland activation and it has been said to be the gateway to higher creativity.

You can preserve the health of the pineal gland by preventing calcification by not drinking fluorinated water, monitoring your diet and using toothpaste without fluoride, they’re on the shelves too.  People oftentimes underestimate the importance of reading labels, but that’s just me. Basically avoid fluoride in every which way shape and form.

To help promote a healthy pineal gland start by creating an environment that promotes the proper functioning of the pineal gland. Start by getting high-quality sleep every night in a room that’s as dark as possible. Blue lighting that comes with computer screens and the like produce blue wavelengths which are beneficial during daylight hours because they boost attention, reaction times and your mood but are also the most disruptive at night as it can keep you from falling asleep.

Indirect sun exposure is essential as your eyes need indirect sunlight to function properly. Both the sun and the darkness activate the functions of the pineal gland, it has a photoreceptor that receives light signals causing it to produce melatonin. Sun gazing is a method of meditation that attempts to harness the healing power of the sun, but it’s important to make sure you’re doing it during off-peak times such as sunrise and sunset and I of course wear shades because my eyes have always been super sensitive to light exposure.

What a great weekend, my boss knows how to throw a party, there’s no doubt about that. We had so much fun, and Spencer was the highlight of my day. He’s not one of our residents, I wish he was though because he is the epitome of the reason why I fell in love with everything special needs. This guy is always laughing, never without a smile and brings so much joy to my heart it’s almost incomparable. The unconditional love is next level and if I was in the position to adopt him I’d be all over it.

Not just good times but a great effing time. I’m pretty sure I have just as much fun as the kids. It’s a great way to stay young too.
