Nothing like showing up for work and finding that Spirit has left not one, but two shiny pennies. There really is one on the ground but the bus rolled up to pick up their students so I didn’t have time to check my photo before swooping that penny up and putting it in my pocket.
It never seizes to amaze me when I happen to look at my phone at the exact right time, it happens on a daily. Or the clock at work when it’s 11:11 am or 1:11 pm, all the time. I love it. Or the hawk on my home. I was on my bike and not quite quick enough to capture it on my phone but I got the mental memory and needless to say it was awesome.
Yesterday was full of signs and synchronicities as usual, along with some things I found interesting and even borderline concerning. But then again, these days I find most things concerning because I question everything and with good reason.
I’ve been wanting to get back into swimming considering I swam in high school and thoroughly enjoy it. Next to nookie it’s actually one of the best forms of exercise and now that I’m working I can afford to upgrade my gym membership to a facility with a pool.
I went to LA Fitness first and, how can I say this nicely, it was a little uppity I guess. No offense to the football playing college graduate, I know because he told me three times, and his Freudian slip lol when he mentioned how the new A.I. machines help you to mutilate this that and the other. I really hope he meant manipulate but I didn’t bother to correct him because I was too intrigued with the A.I. equipment to really care. But I caught it though. A.I. equipment at the gym now, really? Is that even necessary? Crazy. But then it gets crazier. They also have a “hydration” station in which you can hydrate intravenously. Wait what, is THAT really necessary? I mean, no offense again, but I’m not letting anyone stick a needle in my arm much less an I.V. What, people can’t pick up a glass of water anymore? I left there with a three day trial pass and the feeling of don’t call me I’ll call you.
Today I went to 24 Hour Fitness and the vibe was so much better that I signed myself up on the spot. It’s 3:33 pm as I type, just sayin’.

I did a post in Costa Rica about daddy long legs and how I was blown away that they have respiratory systems. Last week I a took a picture of a daddy long leg in the bathroom at the library. I took it because I’ve been seeing a lot of spiders lately. Yes, I’m well aware it’s spider season right now but in the day in the life of me it goes a little deeper than the obvious sometimes. Well I was just smitten when I noticed that same daddy long leg was now a proud mommy with her I think I counted 10 baby daddy long legs. Now I’m even more blown away as those cute little tiny babies also have respiratory systems even smaller than their mothers. That my friends is just one of the uncountable ways in which God works. Mind blowing.
