KOA, Mt Shasta & Burney Falls

Alas, we made it to Mt. Shasta, our final destination. After two weeks of traveling it was bitter sweet. We stumbled upon KOA campgrounds which turned out to be an absolute delight, not to mention they had a handicap bathroom with a shower that worked out perfect because we were the only campers using it so we even had our very own key. This luxury allowed us to unload half of our gear giving us the freedom of a little more space to move around.

I must say though throughout the trip I couldn’t help but notice how much I actually used some of my yoga moves. From my half way lift to the flat back which helped to protect my back from all the bending over in the van, not to mention all my squatting. I can squat for days, I’ve got good hips like that. Jumping up and down from my bunk bed was a breeze as well, like a little monkey up high in the trees, I did it all with so much ease. Haha the poet in me making an appearance. The staff at KOA were just as nice as the campground itself and I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the greater Mt. Shasta area.

You can bet your sweet buns I swung on those swings, always connecting to my inner child, always. I’m also happy to report I finally got my campfire and toasted marshmallows. Marshmallows aren’t usually on my diet but special times call for special measures and sometimes it feels really good being bad lol.

We took a drive up Mt. Shasta of course but not before asking a local what he thought about the aliens that are allegedly living not on the mountain but in it. He said that when the reticular clouds were often sitting on the mountain top, that’s when the aliens were getting their deliveries of supplies. I was surprised that most of the locals I spoke to didn’t necessarily believe the stories to be true, maybe I just didn’t ask the right people. They too will learn with time. Everything in divine timing.

What a beautiful scenic drive that was up the mountain. I did have a strange experience myself and I still to this day wonder exactly what it was, if it was something at all but my gutly intuition says it was. We were somewhere at the top and had briefly stopped to take stock on which way to go when I looked out the window and in the blink of an eye I saw a white almost transparent floating thingy about the size of a lighter. It was very similar to this object that was caught on camera, which I’m actually quite surprised to have found, or am I?

Mine looked like a tiny ghost but similar in shape. Mine was was white and smaller of course, and almost see through. In the moment that I saw it for whatever reason it was this image that popped into my head. I had seen it on some kind of unexplainable something show. It’s really hard to describe but that’s probably by design. I know I saw something but unlike most people I don’t have to know exactly what it was. It was a cool experience and that’s enough for me right now.

Kind of like the time I got off the bus to return home from Knotts, this was years ago, and I was nudged to turn around. When I looked back I saw what I think, if memory serves me correctly, was nine orange lights up in the night sky, a couple of them were blinking. I periodically looked over my shoulder as I made the four block walk home and I couldn’t help but feel like, not following me per se, or maybe they were, but I felt like they were definitely watching me.

We are so not alone on this planet and even more so in this universe. I don’t know what those reticular clouds are doing on the mountain top but you can bet your bottom dollar they’re doing something. While I don’t think there’s little green aliens chillin’ in the mountain, I do believe this mountain holds a lot energies and entities that we cannot see with our physical eyes, yes I do.

TAKE 2, cause bloopers are funny, and I don’t wanna put my seatbelt on.

TAKE 3. Yes I know, I need to work on my cinematography.

We spent the next afternoon traveling to Burney Falls which was breath-taking of course but due to the time of year a lot of it was closed off and it wasn’t all that handicap accessible. We didn’t stay long but it was well worth the drive nonetheless.
