Joshua Tree National Park

Somebody asked me recently how my trip to Joshua Tree was and wanted to see some pictures which had me at, I haven’t even written about my latest adventure. I had forgotten how beautiful it was, in fact I hadn’t even gone back to look at the pictures I had taken. It was definitely some much needed time out in nature which is something we all can and should benefit from.

I didn’t realize how close it was from where I’m at, gotta love a national park literally in your backyard. I was hoping for some night sky action but mother nature had different plans. I did buy a deck of cards but that’s about as much of the stars as I got. One of these days I’m sure they’ll all align for me in some special way because it’s something I’m really longing for.

I couldn’t help myself, as soon as I could I shuffled those cards to see if Spirit had anything for me and wouldn’t you know it, two cards popped out right off the bat. Perseus (hero) and Andromeda couldn’t wait to make an appearance. I love pulling cards, it doesn’t matter from what kind of deck, it never seizes to amaze how accurate they can be or the fact that they’re an amazing teacher. I love seeing what they want me to see or show me something to be thinking about.

We did enjoy the full moon here and there, in between cloud coverage, and we did actually have the chance to drive in a cloud which I thought was pretty cool. It’s one thing to be in fog but to see the cloud from a distance and then drive through it knowingly is another.

We also were able to enjoy some rain which is my favorite weather, if I could bottle that smell I would. We were also blessed with a beautiful rainbow one afternoon which is a huge sign your angels are near, and everything’s gonna be alright. And let’s not forget how spectacular the sunrise was our first morning there.
