I was watching a video with Pam Gregory talking about the upcoming New Moon In Aries on the 17th when I was nudged to explore my curiosity. She was talking about the sacred Aries who embodies the sacred spark of creation and has the courage for new beginnings. An Aries who’s alive and vibrant, and how there’s a sense of vitality with a strong Aries energy.
At the lower energetic level we know Aries to be associated with aggressiveness and impulsiveness, but at a higher level they represent strength and compassion in action. At their highest level of expression they represent divine will. They take sovereign intention, along with purpose, and transmute that impulsiveness, along with reaction, into spiritual focus and divine will. This can look like total surrender while aligning perfectly with the spiritual realm.
This piqued my curiosity with astrology in general and before I knew it I was looking up our horoscope signs for some refresher courses. In a nutshell our Rising sign represents our public persona, our Sun sign is our core identity and our Moon sign is our inner world. This got me thinking how I sure do talk a lot about my Sun and Rising, but rarely do I mention my Moon sign. Even better, it got me curious about my Moon sign altogether.
The next thing I knew it was five hours later and I’ve journaled roughly twenty seven pages. It’s like I blinked and it was 3 o’clock. Fun fact, it was 3:11 when I finally gave my hand a break and looked at the clock, it’s a number I see often. It just goes to show you never know where the day is going to take you and in my case today, how many doors of information are going to open. Little did I know it’s actually my Taurus Moon that takes credit for the patience and persistence of my transformation.
Your Moon sign represents your inner world. It rules your subconscious, your instincts and the way you process emotions. It’s the true you that only comes out when you’re alone or when you’re with those you trust the most. According to astrology, having your Moon in Taurus is one of the most powerful and stable emotional placements you can have. With this placement, your inner emotional world is naturally grounded and resilient.
Ironically enough it’s also associated with being deeply connected to physical comfort which is hysterical because there’s nothing comfortable about what my body is going through right now. It’s funny because I’ve always said that I have this innate ability to bounce back, whether from a break-up, a loss, or even physical ailments. My Aries Sun has been a bull in a china shop more times than I can count which has had me either in a cast or simply recovering from whatever else. Little did I know this innate ability was my Taurus Moon all along.
Taurus is also tied to financial and material security which acts as the foundation for emotional well-being. I guess this explains my current lesson of trust, one layer anyway, especially now that I’ve been ‘unemployed’ for a few months. The first month when my bank account got low I almost had a melt down. I tried not to think about it until I couldn’t avoid it anymore and then boom, it’s all I could think about. I got some signs from Spirit encouraging me to have faith and then shortly thereafter the resources arrived. Every month it’s got easier and easier.
My whole journey has been one big trust fall but right now I’m currently in the biggest trust fall of my life, I have to trust that I’m taken care of. I always have everything I need when I need it one way or another. Now I can see that it’s all set in place to get me out of survival mode and into the 5D reality where everything flows naturally. It’s hard to grasp the fact that we are so connected to everything we can’t see that we truly are being looked after, to the point where we don’t have to be in control.
It’s like being in my car again, however I’ve leveled up so to speak, which has me laughing again because there’s nothing super comfy about my living situation either. That’s not true, I have to comfiest bed on the planet and truth be told I can spend the whole day in it, especially with fresh sheets. That’s weather permitted of course because in my little chamber of transformation, when it’s hot it’s hot and when it’s cold it’s cold. I do not have central heating or air. Nor do I have running water. But I do have the main house which isn’t very far.
While my Aries Sun is my spark that gives me my pioneering adventurous side, my Taurus Moon is my anchor that provides the follow through with everything I do. It gives me the patience and stamina to build on everything I start. Most of the things I start anyway, because let’s be real, I am a strong Aries so it’s not unlikely to be gung ho about something one day and then meh never mind the next.
The Aries Sun/Taurus Moon carries the vibe of a ‘luxury warrior’ where I have the confidence to go after what I want and the style to look good doing it. Let’s not forget the courage to take that leap of faith with my Leo Rising. No wonder my friend said I always look like I’m ready for the runway, it’s my Taurus Moon. That and I had a strong influence from my mother who was always done up right, even to vacuum the house. She was always dressed to the nines.
With our birthdays three days apart, she was an Aries/Taurus cusper, I just might have some of that residual Taurus energy wanting to creep in early. Either way, I do find it important to always look your best. If you look like a million dollars, you feel like a million dollars which in my world makes you a million dollars, giving me that sense of Taurus luxury.
My living quarters are perfect for who I am and what I’m in the process of doing. It also gives me the luxury of living in Huntington Beach four blocks from the ocean on a shoestring budget. I’ve always said I don’t need anything name brand and I certainly don’t need anything high-end. I consider myself a mountain girl more than anything so I don’t require much. Just a razor and a snowmobile.
My Taurus Moon gives me all my patience and perseverance which have turned out to be what I consider some of my superpowers. Mastering my patience is what allows me to hold space for my manifestations to arrive on my terms. The universe doesn’t just give you what you want, it doesn’t just reward you for all your hard work. It waits patiently right alongside you until the time is right and then delivers exactly what is needed for who you’re becoming, and then exctly what is meant for who you’ve become.
I have the Aries fire to lead, Taurus persistence to build, and a Leo heart to make is shine.
Super grateful. Always thankful.
Stay curious my friends.
